The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a private, not for profit, university hospital, focusing on the delivery of the highest quality health care in Pakistan for over 30 years since 1985. It also serves as the teaching hospital for the brightest doctors, nurses, and midwives in the country.
The hospital is part of an emerging health care system which includes Clifton Medical Services (CMS) and smaller hospitals in Garden, Karimabad, Kharadar and Hyderabad. Furthermore the hospital reaches out into Pakistan through its Outreach Services and is offering healthcare and diagnostics through Integrated Medical Services, Phlebotomy Stations and Pharmacies.
